A school holiday is a great time to visit the park in the morning. It is not too crowded and the kids are enthusiastic and energetic.
Our park visit last week yielded some really creative thinking with children transforming leaves into animals, birds and fishes.
They also made a self portrait with the twigs, leaves and petals they had collected.
Some of the older children did a watercolour study of some of the plants and trees.
It was a really fruitful (not literally) day at the park!
