Twiggy Tales

Come monsoons, we have a lot of tree trimming happening around our locality. The branches and leaves that are hacked off are left on the pavement for the local municipality to pick up the next day.

I just could not miss this opportunity to use these fresh hacks in my studio. We picked up some of the branches and twigs and brought them into our studio. For a day my studio had a burst of fresh green all around.

The twigs sparked off our imagination and we planned various projects for the different classes. Some made three-legged monsters, the little ones made snakes and some made figures.

Here is how the imagination of our little ones took wing.
