gallery Birds in the style of Madhubani Art

Madhubani painting is done by the tribes in Bihar, India. These paintings enclose the figure in double lines that go parallel. Simple animal and bird forms are surrounded by stylised flowers and leaves. These are painted in bright colours, originally made from flowers and leaves.

Our elementary kids interpreted birds in the style of the Madhubani painters. The coloured them using inks and pens.
