Making a Good Impression!

Our elementary kids learnt about impressionism by looking at prints of various impressionist artists. They noticed the use of colour, fuzzy paintings without outlines, visible brush strokes and light. They applied this to make their own landscapes in the style of the impressionists. Putting strokes of different colours next to one another also made them see the possibilities of colour mixing. Here are some of the results.
