Wishing all my readers a Very Happy Ganesh Chaturthi tomorrow. The most awaited festival and the favourite God of Mumbaikars arrives tomorrow.
The Ganesha form lends itself to innumerable interpretations and my students have made several renditions of the beautiful form. I will be putting up many of these through the ten days of the festival. Here’s the first lot.
High school students made many blobs of bright ink on the paper. Once dry, they looked for images of Ganesha in the blotches and outlined them with a black marker, finishing the background with patterns.
