Exceptional expressionist portraits

Fourth graders made these lovely expressionist portraits after a lesson on expressionism and colour. First they outlined their faces with glue . When this had dried, they coloured the faces with oil pastels, using color arbitrarily. Finally, they went over their glue lines with black crayon or paint.
