Guess the Mudra

A museum visit to see the ancient sculptures of the Buddha and the tangkas at the Prince of Wales Museum, resulted in these beautifully calm and serene paintings by fourth graders. They studied the hands of the Buddha and tried them out, while understanding the meaning behind each one. Various attributes of the Buddha were stressed, which show in all their paintings. It was a very fruitful visit, one they will remember for a long time.
